My two kids were in youth group from 2001 to 2008.  During that time I had the privilege of not only watching my kids mature physically, but also spiritually and emotionally.  Their involvement in youth group was a tremendous blessing to my husband and me.  They were stretched in their faith and relationships, and they were encouraged to be open and honest with us in things they were going through.  As parents we were able to be involved on many outings with the youth group as chaperons, drivers and home study/dinner hosts.  This gave us great opportunity to observe first hand how the leaders worked with and ministered to the kids.  It is amazing how God has used this ministry!
